HP 28-50

Member
J Walker is searching for 500 info and in my attempt to help I stumbled onto a story in farm collector magzine from May of this year that stated there are only 30 left. I know the production run was small at around 1700 and the eastern states have the greatest saturation, but I feel that estimate might be a little light. Any opinions?

There were several models of Oliver tractors that had less than 1700 total production, and you see those lower production models at shows all the time.

I think the guy that said there were only 30 left didn't know what he was talking about.

Not too long ago there was an article in the HPOCA magazine on both the 500 & 600 tractors. Remember there were 2 series of the 500 tractors as well plus gas and diesel in the early series. I think the 30 is miss leading. I have had several tech calls on the 500 series in the past year. 28-50, send me an e-mail on the HPOCA site if you want to and we will talk about it. J.
