VERY GOOD JIM. SUNDAY I PLACED FIRST FOUR TIMES AND ONE SECOND. 5500# 6000# 6500# 7000#

ALSO THEY HAD A 6450# JACK POT CLASS AND I TOOK THAT TOO. 5500# CLASS GOT SECOND DCTOM

Way to go!! I've always wondered why a CC with a DC head wouldn't be more competitve than a DC? Wouldn't the CC weigh less and have the same horsepower?

My son and I pull three different DC's--one pulls 4500 and 5500 with cutoff's on it, one pulls 5000 and 6000, and the other pulls 6500. I don't know how much lighter a CC would be but I'm afraid the way our rules read they would catch that DC head plus I like electric start.

That's a great picture! But wouldn't you rist breaking the whole front end off when it dropped down, or can you control the landing? Had a fellow I know let his dad's DC roll down a crib approach into another building and broke the front end off..dad made hime work all summer to pay for it!

Very nice looking tractor!

I agree that the front end is weak! But not in the place I suspected... I damaged a parts DC one time unloading it from the trailer - it only dropped about 8 inches into soft soil, but broke the front end totally off the frame...

It broke on the casting along both sides of the rail underneath the radiator...

We broke the front end off a DC years ago. I was driving thru a field and droped it into a sinkhole up to the oil pan. Couldnt back it out so Uncle hooked a big JD on and pulled too, snaped it off. Probably was putting a lot more stress on it than letting down from a wheelie.
