530CK smoking

I have a 530CK diesel about 1966 vintage with the 188 motor. It will start with no problem, but puts out a lot of gray/blue smoke. I replaced the injectors. This was an improvement, but there is still a smoke issue. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dan

If the smoke continues blue grey after warming
up and does not clear up. I would check the
pump timing, compression test, and see how much
blow by from the breather tube. Then I would
decide where to go from there.

Does it continue to smoke after it is warmed up. In cold weather those engines will smoke a while until they get warmed up. If it smokes after you are working it and it is not under a pull, there may be a problem somewhere.

Thanks all for the imput. I tried removing the hose to intake manifold, no obvious change. Smoking continues even after warm-up. There is black liquid dripping from the exhaust, I'm guessing unspent fuel?
Where do I go from here?

Have you figured out what the problem is? When you do please let me know. Ive got the same problem I rebuilt the motor, sent pump and injectors out to get rebuilt, moved timing all over and still the same thing.

I haven't figured out what's the cause, but the symptoms are excessive blue/gray smoke and what I think is unburned fuel coming out of the exhaust. The black oily liquid dripping from the exhaust pipe has me a little more concerned than the smoke, but I would sure like to know what's the problem. I have tried all of the suggestions the forum has offered, but still no change. I hate to run it as it is, but I need it to dig out of the heavy snow we've been having.
