The monitor yellow light will blink when close to full then no light and the bale will continue to increase no stop. The auto wrap (string) is not engaging. I checked all the springs they were good. The pump belt was real loose. When I manually pull the rope it will wrap fine. If someone has had this problem please let me know where to look, I would appreciate it.

If bale size is continuing to get larger than the pre-set size then the hyd valve or twine tie control linkage isn't resetting when tailgate is be closed.

""After bale is 3 ft tall, stop baler and check to see if twine belt has tension on it"".

You stated you checked all the springs. The spring(parts key #5) should not be stretched out after gate is closed. Also when gate has closed hyd valve spool should be shifted into it's downward position.

Jim, I will bring the baler to the shop tonight and start checking the items. Where did you get this schematic, if on line let me. the book I have for the baler does not have good pictures in it.

I had this happen 1 time. Made a ginormous bale lol. I think it might have had something to do with the tailgate not closing all the way. It was closed just enough for the light not to come on, but not enough to completely lock. Like I said, it only happened once, then we started having problems with the tailgate wanting to open up on a regular basis. It may or may not be related.

After having the problem I baled 5 more bales and each had to manual pull the lever to wrap them. I now have the baler at the shop and hope to find the problem tomorrow. Any other advice is appreciated.
