550 ford swingchain tension probs

well ,i'm back n still having swingchain tension problems w/my 550 ford backhoe.i can purge the connecting hose and regain tension but the problem's back in short order.. do i have cylinder/valve problems or what reckin??
preshate any advice i can get! :+)

You have a leaking packing in one or both cyls.

thanks for your reply arlo..when i figger out how to get them out i"ll get them both reworked.i"m having to learn everything th hard way since this is all greek to me "+)( it threw me a curve when it seemed to work after i burped the connecting hose)
