thinking about tradeing for a oliver 550,i have a ford 9n now and need something with a little more horsepower.i've heard these are a pretty reliable tractor.any advice before the trade about oliver's will help a lot

Best decision I ever made was to sell my 8n and purchase my 550. You wil not regret it for a second. See link below for more info. Also search this forumn for lots of 550 info.

there is not one thing that can compare a 9/8N to a super 55/550, Power, brakes, handling, weight, PTO, 3 pt hitch. You will not regret it for one minute. When ya get it let us know how you like it.

Traded my 9N for a 550 24+ years ago and have never said to my self I wish I had the 9N back
