560 Farmall price

If you were selling a 1958 Farmall 560 with a good TA, Fast Hitch, wide front end, good tires all around(15.5-38 rears), A good Westendorf loader and 7 foot bucket, decent heat houser, and a heavy duty rear blade, good tin and older restoration (i.e. good paint etc) how much would you ask for it? Tractor runs and operates good and doesn"t use oil. I"m trying to help a daughter out whose Dad passed away recently sell the tractor. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Jan, It's located in central Iowa. That's also the same price I received from a Case-IH salesman who hasn't looked at it either. I thought it might be worth a little more than that but haven't seen any sell lately either.

Just remember, if they run it through a sale they will give up 25% to 35% of the sale price in fees.

I was at a sale earlier this month. 560D, very good paint, like new tires (15.5x38 rears), wfe, FH sold for $6,100. Like new Westendorf loader for it brought $1,700.

Aggree with others. When I was looking for mine any 560 described as you have stated at 5000.00.
List it for 6995.00 then go from there.
Good luck, Tony

You won't get any calls at $6995 no matter how good it looks, and $5000 is going to be a tough sell. Maybe eventually, but do they want to spend 6 months to a year marketing it?

It'll sell faster if you break up the package. The more accessories and implements you bundle with the tractor, the less likely you'll be able to find someone who wants that EXACT configuration.

People as a general rule have no imagination. They could always buy the whole thing and sell off what they don't want, but it either doesn't occur to them or they don't want to expend the effort, and walk away. They just see the high price and equate that to the part of the bundle that they're interested in. They don't calculate how much of that price they can recover by selling the pieces they don't want.

Tractor with loader is the most I'd bundle together. Market everything else separately. The buyer can pick and choose what accessories and implements he wants to go with the tractor.

If the Westendorf loader is "good" I'd split them up and sell them seperate.

The loader could easily bring $2500 by itself. A sharp 560 with good tires and a rear blade might go for $3500 or so. Guys looking at that old of tractor are not going to pay for that nice of loader. People looking for that loader are not going to want to mess with a 560.

Been about half way looking at getting a good 560 or 656. Gas or diesel?
As long as it runs good...really do not care much what it looks like.

Any pictures?? I like to see what the package deal looks like. What number of westendorf loader is it? I just looked at a loader for $1250.00 which was in good shafpe but old. Lots of people just don't want anything old.

Sorry, no I don't have a picture. Lots of good input here. I don't really need another tractor but if there are no offers or takers above 5000 I figured I would buy it myself and split it up as one of you guys suggested. She doesn't want to monkey around parting it out, just sell it altogether she says. Sure appreciate all the input. IH guys are the best!!!!

Sure wish I could get my last few tractors sold! That sounds like exactly what I want! If I had cash in hand I would be hooking up the trailer now! I watch Craigslist religiously and would say based on your description youll be right around $4750 to $5250 for central IA. Just my .02 though...

In the fall of 2011 a 560 gas, widefront, working ta,fast hitch, good tires and older nice paint went for $6250 in s.c. Nebraska That was with no loader or attachments. Everything went high on that sale as the fellow was retiring.
