560 for sale.. how much?

I have a 1960 560 that I have owned for 21 or 22 years. It's main use
under my ownership was hauling manure and carrying hay bales with a
front end loader. It has done no work for the last 4 years. It has 18.4-38's
with fluid on the rear and big tires on the front which really worked nice
for carrying bales. It has fast hitch and adaptors to use as 3-point. Just
this week, I had a new clutch and TA installed by a reputable shop and
also a fresh tune up. This tractor runs and drives very nicely. I have been
thinking about selling this tractor and my small skid loader and getting
something with a cab for doing snow removal. How much could/should I
expect to get out of this tractor?

Where are you? Gas or Diesel, kind of assuming gas? How good a condition are the tires and sheet metal in? All make a big difference. Sam

I am in Iowa. Tires are probably 50%. One new rear inner tube last week. Sheet metal is there and pretty straight. It has 656 fenders on it. Someone before me did some painting on it but not proffesional. It has always been stored inside.

There is a 656 diesel for sale under the classifieds for 2950 in iowa. Thats more tractor then your 560 so I think a 2500 is a great place to start. Good luck!

Shoot me an e-mail with some pictures and your location.

I've been shopping for one and have looked at several in the 25-4500 range. The 4500+ were wide front diesels. Found a few less than that but needed too much work. Saw a fully reconditioned one with flat top fenders sell for 6500. The guys was not happy but needed to sell it.

I bought my Farmall 460 gaser last year at auction for $2,600 dollars. It was a one owner with a story, nf, ps, fh, tires all around 50 percent and paint decent with excellent tin. Bought it at Gilberts Sale Yard Auction at Floyd Iowa. I'm almost willing to be your new clutch and TA are worth/cost almost what you'll get out of the tractor if it was done by a shop.
