How much grinding is required of block and cam with a 6 " stroke of 88 oliver? 77 rods vrs offset cap rods? Will the cam be alright at 2500 rpm? Thanks

There is a lot of grinding. Have a 541 for sale if interested.

There is a lot of grinding for a 6" stroke. Will have to clearance the oil pan. Offset rods are a must. Should be fine @ 2500. Might as well put a billet cam in while your at it, since that seems to be the weak link.
