6 pin plug replacement?

The wattage of the bulb will influence the flashing rate . A higher wattage will flash at a lower rate , the hysteresis or time it takes to warm up the filament reduces the speed .

Sorry about the confusion as it is a 7 way plug like you said. Now as far as the turn light blinking fast on the left hand side weather the trailer is connected or not is the condition I have, it doesn't seem normal? just as long as it doesn't hurt anything..

If it is blinking fast with the trailer not connected, you have a problem in your truck's left turn signal circuit, not the trailer. Was it doing it before you changed the trailer plug? Did the trailer plug get damaged in a turn and in the turn pulled hard enough on the truck socket to disturb it? If so, there could be a problem in the socket of your truck. If you were to tell what your truck is someone might have a thought of something specific to check. Are all the turn indicator lights working on the truck? Have you put any LED bulbs in the truck turn signals?

It is a 2008' Duramax, everything works fine other than the fast blinker, I'll start going over it again, it probably just something I over looked..Thanks there farmers..

A faster-than-normal flash indicates you have a burned-out turn signal lamp. Have you checked both the front and rear turn signal lamps? Note that there may be more than just two left-hand turn signal bulbs.
