I'm a Deere person considering a 60 Oliver.
Would like viewpoints about them.
Also what engine did they have and were they sleeved. Several seem to be seized. Were there diesels available?
Doesn't someone reproduce the sheet metal or at least part of it?

You asked: Also what engine did they have and were they sleeved. Several seem to be seized. Were there diesels available?
The engine is 120 cubic inches and it has wet sleeves. Diesels were not available in the model 60.

We have 3 60's. One 4 speed and two five speeds. They are an awesome little tractor to have and handy has heck. We use ours to do yard work and pull wagons. Just a nice little chore tractor. Fun to drive, the 5 speed we have running will do 17-18 mph down the road in high 5th gear. I say high 5th because the trans has two 5th gears that are supposed to be the same, but we have clocked it and one is just a hair faster than the other. I think Lynch farms is remaking the side tin for them but im not quite sure. The only down side is that nobody is making a complete eingin kit for them. You can piece one together but there are still some seals and other odd pieces that are hard to find or non-existent. Dad talked to Korves Oliver a while back and they were trying to make a full OH kit but I dont think they have one yet.
