620 power steering trouble

Helping a friend on steering problems. Steering wheeels are all the way to the right will not turn back to center or for that matter will not move at all. Have tried adjusting flow control valve.That didnt help any. Steering wheel turns easy with very little resistance at all. Power steering full with deere power steering oil , no foaming or air in oil tank. Have tapped steering valve housing foward and to the rear with no effect. Thanks for any and all help.

I'm no expert on these and I will be interested to hear what they have to say. Does the worm turn when you turn the steering wheel? It almost sounds like a sheared pin somewhere between the steering wheel and the control unit. Does the steering wheel turn free when the engine is not running?

Hope it is not a sheared Bolt on a "Vane"...

Do the wheels operate correctly, jacked off the ground, engine off?
