630 auction action

Just watched an Auction Time auction finish up before noon today. Two 630's with one having a 45 loader sold in Minnesota. The loader 630 went for 2,400 dollars and the other sold for 2,300 dollars. NFE, no fenders, and one had three point hitch pieces but no indication if everything was there. I suppose an OK price if each only needs a good battery and fresh gas. Advertised as having run last fall. Just a week ago a 630 NFE, no fenders, and no 3pt sitting stuck in the weeds sold for 1,025 dollars. All the 5,000 dollar and above Craigslist 630's are sitting unsold after being listed for well over a year.

my brother was looking for a 630 to run a grain auger, I found him a 1 owner, new tires all around, flat top fenders, full 3 point, 2 sets weight in each wheel, for around 4,700 couple months ago at an auction, take off the fenders, weights, 3 point, you have a #2500 tractor. auctioneer spent more time selling a $100 old fuel can than he did selling 2-630's, a 4010, 730 and a 60. he spent about 1 minute on each tractor.

2500#630? A 630 weighs like 6500 pounds with 3 point rolla matic no fenders im not dead on that
weight but im close.a 52 B on cast rears weighs 4500 pounds

I think that what he meant was 2,500 DOLLAR tractor. I don't think that based on experience you could buy a runner for under 3,000 dollars at least around here.
