630 factory 3 point hitch?

The good the Bad and the Ugly. The Good: the tractor has a three point hitch. The Bad: someone along the line may have added this hitch off a newer tractor. The Ugly: poorly made parts to make this hitch work. In one of the photos there is a down view of the right hand side of the tractor. In the center of the photo you can see the hand made parts with the ruff torch cut. On the left hand side there are more hand made parts with ruff torch cuts. One other thing the hitch arms are Cat II and I"m not sure that is correct for this tractor. There is one other thing about this tractor that puzzles me, is the oil filter location does not match other 630 Cases. The tractor has no serial # tag. Engine block casting reads 1 8 61 wheel casting 12-60. This tractor also has the char lynn booster motor indicating an early 630.

It sure looks to me like someone retrofitted a later series draft-o-matic setup on your 630. Would it be possible to show how they plumbed the draft-o-matic valve. I'm guessing the pressure line is plumbed into the top of the remote hydraulic valves under the fuel tank. Where did they plumb the return line? Any chance of some pics detailing that part of your setup? - Joe

Excellent. That confirms what I need to do to get a dual-spool loader valve plumbed to an eagle hitch tractor. Thank you very much. - Joe
