'64 3000 SOS help needed

I have what appears to be an early production 1964 3000 with the SOS. When running across a field the rear wheels rolled into a small washout with a bump and the tractor quit moving. It does not move in any gear nor does the PTO work. The only way I could move it by pulling even with the engine running was to disengage the drive line. There are no grinding or other unusual noises from the transmission.

I am looking for ideas what could be wrong before I tear into it. I do have the shop manual.

Just curious, what's the production code? The tractor may have been made in late '64, but it was probably sold as a 1965 model, as that was the official first model year for that tractor. Even the parts listings on the New Holland parts site will not list any tractor production dates prior to 1/65.

I miss typed, it is a '65. I checked the serial number and looked at casting dates. The casting dates are January and February of 1965. I am guessing assembly sometime in April. The serial tag under the hood is missing.

If the tag under the hood is missing, the model number, serial number and production code should still be stamped into the flat spot on the bell housing that faces up, just rearward of the starter.

That is where I picked up the serial number and from that the year. Other sources showed how to read the casting dates, it is a '65 built early in the year, I think April or May.
