This is where my comparisions comes into play. if the 650 was out before 58, then to me, an 830 would have been the competitor. Then IH came out with the 660, in 59 which should have squished the 830, i wouldnt expect an 830 to beat a 660, i mean a new series of tractor with almost double the horsepower. then in 1960 the 4010 came out, but the 4010 wouldnt have been the 830 replacement, that was the 5010's job. All that said, i still would like a 650. even if that means the 650 is a competitor to my 80, its still a cool looking tractor. The only tractor pulls i go to are not sancitioned or for points or anything, just get in your weight class and go. Now im curious, how far away are ya? might not be far to far if you wanted to let go of a 650.
the 660's came out in 59 and 830 in 58. i pull my 660's against 830's and beat them everytime. the thing is the 4010 came out in 61 and the antique tractor pulls rules are that the model has to be started before 1960 , so that eliminates the 4010 at pulls. the 660 replaced the 650 and is a way more powerful tractor. the 930 case is also in the same era. i have the whole set of these ih's. your a long ways away.
