66 allcrop

I am planning on using my 66 combine for soybeans and was wondering what the best set up is for it. cyclinder clearance, speed, number bars, size finishing sieves, draper speeds, etc. plan on 35-40 bushel acre. no weeds. only have 2.5 acres. using wd (might try wc, but like wd's hand clutch better.)

Try Yaz Allcrop for the info. I havent run an allcrop in over twenty years so my memory is kinda fuzzy but you should be able to get the setup information you need there. I remember ours did a fantastic job on beans and milo. The WC would be fine to operate it. The wd's hand clutch is great but you probably wont need it when running the combines.I know if I ever had to leave the drivers seat I sure didnt want to go near that combine with the PTO running. Hope this helps!!!

I remember running the top belt pulley with the belt pushed out until it was in the same position as the bottom pulley...loosen the belt tensioner first, tho..

Use all the cylinder bars.
Be sure to have the hydrolic system set for "Hold" position, and practice finding it...!!
Seives, I would guess, maybe 1/3 open, then adjust to clean it up..
Fan open 75%..
I can't say what the cylinder clearance measurement is....does 5/16" sound right..??
Remember, NEVER grease that slip-clutch, under the grain bin...!!!
