66/super66 trans case

My super 66 has a crack in the trans-diff case. Could i use a case from a 66 with disc brakes. It all looks the same on the outside. Thanks. Mike

I dont see why not, I cant think of any differences. Youre just going to split the super and mate the row crop rear to the super front right?

If you need a transmission/rear end, I have one complete from a 1954 66

Yes. I have a good 66 that is too far gone to restore but the rear all appears fine

I don't have a parts book in front of me but I would check to see if both bull pinions use the same bearings. There was a guy not too far from here that wanted to change bull pinios and if I remember right the outside diameter of the bearing races were not the same
