need to remove fuel injectors from 310 engine on 686 & have them checked. i know these engines smoke but ours smokes a lot, even under full throttle. it's not using coolant or oil. what is the best way to take them out. any special tools required. i know the coolant should be drained from the block to be on the safe side if a tube or sleeve pulls out when injectors are removed to prevent coolant from entering the piston area. i know a mechanic who will come over & take them out but would like to save some money if possible. tractor does run good but starts hard below 50 or so. did replace thermostat because engine was running too cool but it didn't help w/the excess smoking.
