7.3 Ford F250

I just changed the converter (the insides broke up) and now need to change the filter and fluid. Anyone know how much fluid it holds? It's a '96 F250 7.3 diesel with the E4OD trans.

My manual says 15.7 qts for 2WD & 16.2 qts for 4WD. I have that same truck with 4WD and hoping to get it broke in soon, only has 324K miles on it. Tough old truck!

Thanks Mike, I just bought this thing for a good price because it had the tranny problem. It has 215k on it and hope it will go another 100k+
