70's 4320 options

Was differential lock standard or optional on a 4320? I'm looking at one that doesn't seem to have one. Or else the pedal is missing, but there is the hole in the cab where it should be.
Also will a 48 loader currently on a 72 4020 fit on this 4320? Or will the loader mounts be too narrow or short?

The diff lock was an option, but thats not saying it hasn't been removed or disabled. Look under the cab and see if the valving is still there.
The 48 will bolt up with no modifications, but be carefull using it,a 4320 if ballasted heavily has enough power to bend the arms with rough use.

Not many options were available on that model 4320.

I guess a better way to state options is '71-'72 4320's had very few options listed when ordered NEW. And yes diff lock was an option.

Not trying to start a fight but a 48 loader will not fit a 4320, despite what the books say. Wont quite clear, we found out the hard way and had to have the dealer bring out a 58, a 148 will clear I'm pretty sure.

I'm curios as to what keeps a 48 loader from fitting a 4320. I looked at PC1108 and a 4320 isn't referred to in the index. I know the the booms are longer on a 58 for longer reach but that can't be the limiting factor. I'm aware that 4320 would be above HP limit for a 48.
