720 starter bendix

I'm needing a new bendix for my 720 starter. the one on my present starter is a 10 tooth. the ones I find for sale on the net with the correct part number are 11 tooth. Are these actually the correct ones and will work?

Give me the SN # off your starter and I can get the correct drive for you. Brand new! The Delco # may be 1113304 or 1113079 for a gas 720 or 1107155 or 1113801 for a deisel.

Gas or diesel?
Gassers will break starters due to kick back from too much timing. Stuck advance weights do occur.

Gas 720. Did break the starter nose because the distributor advance weights were weak, and too much advance. Welded it up so I can use it, but need to get a new one to fix it right. Found an old bendix off a 630 starter with 11 teeth, and it works fine on it, so I guess they put the wrong bendix on it sometime in the past.
