720D parts tractor

A friend of mine (whose computer has crashed) has a 720D he bought for the pup engine. It therefore has no pup, the motor is stuck, it has a non-J-D cab, but is otherwise fairly complete. He needs to get it out of his way and he checked with a scrapper who says it's worth about $600 as scrap. He's located in Abbotsford B.C. which is just a few minutes from the US border north of Bellingham WA. He says if anyone is interested he'll sell it for that same scrap price. I'd rather see it as parts for someone's project than scrap so I'm putting this here to see if anyone can use it. My e-mail is open and I can pass on his phone number - Thanks ! -RonMC

worth way to much for parts or to fix would b a shame to scrap it
