Changing the tips will not gain any power, unless the old tips are bad.

They fit. Spelled as "waste" in this circumstance. Unless the engine's airflow has been improved, extra fuel will mostly make extra smoke.

tips do not make any diff. on fuel flow that is controled by pumps on this tractor

Why did Mother Deere use 13mm pumps on the 720/730,blackdash 820,830 & 840? Then use injectors with 10 thou tips on the 720/730 and 12 thou tips on the late 820/830/840?

Wrong! Tips with bigger diameter holes will flow more fuel at the same pump setting. However as Buickandeere prophesied, it might increase smoke much more than noticable power.
