at work we have a 743 bobcat it sat since last fall we started it up but we are haveing trouble with moveing and working the bucket the pump make noise it will not move under it own power it work great last fall when we parked it

that is not on but that about how load it is

Sounds like a valve stuck doesn't it? Have you banged your lap bar up and down a few times?

Sounds like your foot pedals are rusted up and not centering the valves for boom or bucket.

yes the werd thing i starded it up this moring and drove it out of the shop and the pump was noise and it lifted up and down i shout it off and started it up it would not lift up then it would only move with one side

sounds like yur low on hydraulic fluid to me or you had water in the hyd oil and it has frozen.might be a place to start lookimg.

it is full the light will come on going to change the filter tomarrow when we started it up it ran for 5 mintes or so with out any noise tip the buckit down and then went up with it then the noise started

au;x hydraulics are on the drive sticks. when you push them to the side they will lock and load the hydraulic system. Functions will be as you state.

It could be the aux. hydraulics were accidently engaged. Is there a big middle foot pedal for the aux, hydraulics? If so, they usually lock down in the forward position and it's very easy to accidently lock it in when getting in or out of the machine. The machine will labour and be harder to start if the aux. hyd's. are engaged. I've had that happen on my skid steer and couldn't figure out why the bucket wouldn't roll up. Then it occured to me I must have stepped on the aux. pedal. It's rare that it happens so you tend to not remember it. That and the fluid level are the first things to check. Some hydrostats also use a charge pump. It's possible a 743 does and lost its charge pressure. With the machine off and the seat bar(if it has one) down work all the hydraulic controls and see if they are binding or stiff to move. Maybe they just need to be worked a bit to loosen up. You could spray a little lube on the pivots but not too much as it will just attract dirt and dust which will cause accelerated wear in the pivots. Dave

If the filter light comes on could be the problem. Maybe the filter collected some water and it has some ice or something restricting flow. Dave

it is not the filer lite it is the pump lite
