770 LP

My uncle has an early Oliver 770 LP that he needs to sell since they sold his parents farm. It has about 5000 hours on it and is in decent shape. I"ve been wanting to find a 770 gas but I"m throwing around the idea of this LP as there aren"t many in the area. What would you guys/gals think would be a fair price?

Probably 1500 or so. LP is a pain if you're not set up for it.

My advice is to keep it as LP. They are very collectable due to not that many made at all. If you want to convert it to gas Ill gladly buy the LP components off of you.

all you need is propane tank for house can fill from it not hard at all i have two lp tractors i like them jerry m

I don't think I'd convert it back to a gasser, just not many LP tractors around Iowa that I've seen. I do have a LP tank at the acrege I'm renting but it's owned by the co-op and they will not allow any extra hoses (pesky insurance companies). How well do lp-powered tractors work in the winter?
