Thanks all for the good advice. Got the tractor home last week but it took a few days to get the loader bracket adapted and just started using yesterday. Runs great, but After using all day had a few things turn up.
First, Hydraulic levers that control the remotes work but get stuck. You can feel them kind of snap forward or back feels like throw needs to be adjusted.
Second
It sometimes wouldn’t go into reverse or low.
Pushed in clutch, shift into R or L on Shifter. Let clutch out. Tractor Doesn’t move. I can move up to high or neutral and then come back and it wil work after a couple tries. See some adjustments on linkage behind plate at bottom of console. any advice on how to fix this?
thank you

On the issue of the high low rev. shifter . Well lets start at the top first , remove the cowl and see how much movement ya have at the as i call them cub cadet tie rod ends and has it come loose at the retaining nuts?? Next remove the kick panel and see how bad the clevis pins are woren a tiny amount of slop from the top on down has a huge affect on shifting due to design . After you address any issues from the top down the next step is pulling the range trans cover . For this ya need to have the tractor setting level and rear tires blocked well. , remove the floor plate if you have side hyd out lets ya have to remove them hoses and that can become a real pain in the drain sometimes with out angle wrenches , next unhook the two shifter rods then the park loc rod NOW HERE IF YOU HAVE THE ORG OVER CENTER PARK LOC IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL BUT IF YOU HAVE A UPDATED SPRING LOADED PARK LOC YOU MUST BLOCK THE PARK LOC UP . What i use is a 1/2 inch NUT (3/4 inch head ) , next on the left side of the rear frame behind the step ya have a plate with a clipped corner held on by 1/2 inc bolts this need to come off as REV. slider and shifting fork is behind it , if the hyd. level is at the full mark you will loose around a gallon of hyd oil once you remove that cover , if your five over then you will loose six gallon . once that is out of the way then remove the 3/8th bolts holding the range trans cover and lift straight up you will need to break the gskt loose with a sharp stiff blade putty knife . As you lift the top cover the reverse shifter rod will come out of the rev. shift fork and watch ya don't loose the small key as most times they are loose and fall out , this is part of the reverse issue as that tiny key has to be TIGHT in the shaft for reverse to function . Once you have the cover off look for missing detent spring woren camloose cam on the high low shifter arm going thru the top cove and how much ware is in the shifter hole , also you may be missing the small rollers . Remember any looseness on the 06 shift will make a huge difference on how they shift as everything works off that cam . When ya have every thing in tune like the clutch adjustment the trans brake and dump valve they will shift with two fingers and slide into gear like a charm . Over the years i have worked on many .
