I've got I guess what is considered a 1964 830 high tin COM diesel. I'm rounding up parts to restore it. I bought another 830 COM low tin for the wide front. Like a lot of older iron a lot of the fasteners for the hood and sheet metal have been changed out to regular cap screws on both units. Can someone enlighten me about what is supposed to be on my tractor and also the color, plated or painted. I've seen some very nice units on the site but can't tell about the hardware. I did find some stainless steel thumb screws for the grill screens that match the originals at McMaster-Carr for about $7.00 ea.
