Does anyone know of a jobber who makes the R1335R gasket for an 830. This is the gasket for the cover over the injection pump. Mother Deere no longer has them and a dealer search turned up nothing. Thanks, Ron

I"m not familiar with that gasket, or a jobber who would make it. Is it possible you could get bulk material to make your own? Or is it a critical enough fit that making your own isn"t a good idea?

Try Greg Stephen at theoldtractorcompany.com, or check his parts site which is
http://www.joetraktor.com

He shows having that part number.

Go into John Deere's website and look on their online parts catalog or find a parts book you can look in and see if its in there. I just got one from deere for my 730, I dont know if they're different or not. I had to find it on their picture and give them the # because they couldnt understand what i was talking about.

I just got a pile of gaskets for my 820 from Deere and needed pretty much all of them. The kit numbered AR1889R which Deere now calls RE524137 has that gasket included in the set. Bummer is the set is $225.oo

That particular gasket is cork. Could be any gasket material though. It would be a simple gasket to cut out?

I haven't used a gasket in years. all you need is a little silicone or Lock Tite gasket iliminater. In fact I completely overhauled a model R one time and never used a gasket anywhere,(yes not even a head gasket) except maybe the ex. manifold which was too rough. I used only Lock Tite products. Engine is tight and no leaks.
