Hi old guy 63,
Welcome!
Here is a one wire 12 volt, that works for pertronix 1247.
What are you trying to sort out?
Do you need the pertronix instructions?

Thank you,Petronix instruction says wire goes to key side of ignition which I have it on,but I am not getting spark 12v coil is new along with plugs and recommended plug wires.

Check the volts at the battery posts. Shouldn't get a voltage reading below ~ 9.5 volts when the starter is engaged.
Some new coils pig tail coils are not good, and ground out like this

Thank you I will as I suspect this may be the problem. Also want to add that the only resistor I have is the block no white bar type does that matter ?

Front mount 12 volt coils can be ~2.5 ohms. Measure yours.
The factory resistor is all thats needed.

6 volt coils used on 12 volt conversions can be below 1.5 ohms, and need the white ceramic resistor also.

Hi JD Bob,
Here is a sidemount 12 volt conversion with points (doesnt include a pertronix 1244A Ignitor)

And here is 1244A installation instructions for sidemount
Have to use suppression style spark plug wires on both front and side mounts.

Suggest use a 3.0 ohm coil. So no resistor.
Put red Pertronix on coil +
Put black Pertronix on coil -

Here is Pertronix 1247 installation instructions for front mount

Make sure Pertronix red gets full battery volts, (not resisted volts) and need 3.0 ohms total, so need the coil ran through the dash mounted factory resistor when 12 volt coil.(usually 2.5 ish ohms)
