8n Generator rebuild site?

Does anyone know of a site that shows how to rebuild a 6volt generator for an 8n? I think I'm going to tackle this job, I can't find my I&T manual =). It always disappears when I need it.

not much to it.. brushes, bushing/bearing.. etc.

depending on the condition of the comutator.. might not have to do anything else to it.

wickedsix.......I ALWAYS "polish" the copper armature buss-bars with sandpaper. Don't worry about enny ridges, the soft carbon brushes will conform. .......Dell

Thanks for the tip Dell, I just found my I&T manual. It looks pretty simple, just wanted to do some tests on it, was having non-charging issues. I don't know what I would do without that manual

motor test and full field test are what I'd do first..
