8N hydraulic pump

Where could I get a hydraulic pump for an 8N, the front hydraulic pump that fits on the crankshaft. My son and I are restoring 2 8Ns right now. A "52 8N that my father bought new and I have given to my son, and a "49 that my uncle bought new that we are fixing up for my son-in-law, an ex-marine who has a bad back. He and my daughter are looking at farming on a small scale possibly sheep and my son and I decided to give him the other 8N. You guys have been very helpful to me in the past and I appreciate it very much.

I already did, I"m not looking for the hydraulic pump that is inside the tractor, I"m looking for the on that fits on the front of the crankshaft so I can use a double acting cylinder.

Better look again.

Here's a pump kit (L827-10X), they have the drive couplers and shaft, as well.

There are no ex-Marines,only live ones, and dead ones. What You are looking for is a "stinger"pump. Front mounted, availible here as stated and elsewhere,I've bought here and with good results, pricewise and otherwise.---lha

The pump Bob linked will work but it costs twice or more what a generic gear pump costs. My question is how are you going to mount the pump and where is the oil supply for it? The pump kit shown is meant as a replacement for a front end loader pump and mounts to the frame of the loader. It also draws its oil supply from a reservoir on or inside the loader frame. If you aren't installing a loader you will need to fabricate a mounting bracket for the pump and add an external oil reservoir someplace on the tractor. Rather than using an external reservoir you can plumb the pump into the tractor sump which will also let you use it to upgrade the three point lift with live hydraulics. I've done a number of these sorts of conversions/upgrades and there a lot of options available to you- give me a call if you would like additional details on what can be done and what it requires in terms of hardware.
