9 Bolt hubs

I am looking for a set of 9 bolt hubs for a Farmall Super H with a 2-1/2" axle. I have a set of oliver hubs I bought to have fit to the H and now can"t find anyone to machine them.

Thanks,

What needs to be machined in the hub? I have a set of Moline hubs on mine and just had to get an offset key made.

Its the samething with farmalls, you have to put a keyway in, not a red man, all green but have done it for some buddys. Not that difficult.

take a grinder and open up the keyway on the axle where the hub is going to mount. we did it on a 460 with a set of oliver hubs. had no problems with them and were alot lighter and cheaper than the farmall hubs. worked just as good.

Did the same thing for my J.D. 50.Used oliver 1650 hubs and ground the key on the hubs with a 4 inch hand grinder to fit the 1/2 inch slot in the axel.Try to take the same amount off of each side and keep checking the fit.Mine work great.Good luck.

The best way to make those hubs work,Is to take a hack saw and cut the key on the hub. You have to shorten the saw so it fits through the hole in the hub, and measure carfully. cut them close and clean them up with a file. Make sure to cut off the back side of the keyway,so your axel is turning against the non cut side. Just file,Then try to slide on axle,if it binds a little file some more. Did a set 25years ago and still use for pulling.
