930 - 1030 primer pump??

Is the 930-1030 A60042 Hand Primer Pump rebuildable? Parts Book doesn't break it down. Will the A43343 Kit from a '70 Series Primer replace it?

John, there's not much to it besides a couple o-rings and a pair of check valves. I've rebuilt several. Right now because of the crap in my 1030 tank I have it gutted so it quit getting clogged up.

Mine seeps fuel when shut off and leaks plenty when pumping it. Taking it apart and putting orings in fix all that?

John this may not be the answer that you looking for but hook up an electric fuel pump napa sells them for diesel or gas. wire it up with the key let it run all the time solves a lot of problems

20 years ago I had a customer w/ a 930CK that would starve for fuel & quit. Determined that the transfer pump within the big Bosch pump was bad. I am lazy & did not want to pull the big Bosch, so I installed an electric fuel pump under the floorboard. Everyone was happy because it was an economical & easy fix.

I didnt think those primer pumps could be fixed.

Mine leaks when its being used and needs replaced or repaired.

I have one apart right now but don't remember which tool box the actual pump is in. When I find it I'll post pictures.
