930 western production numbers

My dad bought a new 1969 Case 930 western, diesel engine, and a narrow front end in the spring of 1970. How many of theese tractors were made with this strange combination. We still use this tractor about 200hrs. a year. We have never seen another one like it.

Western with a narrow front sounds like a special order thing to me. First one I have heard of. Can't be many out there. Big booties on the back?

There are alot of western 930s in western KS , both diesel and LP , but i never saw one with a narrow front. Are you confusing western with standard?

always heard that 930-1030 row crop tractors with 18.4 38 tires had western fenders

Does this 930 have a hand clutch? 3 point?

This is definately a western, comfort king, 3 point, diesel no cab, 18.4-34, bought new in Pinckneyville IL in 1970. I suppose the reason why it was sold in 1970 is because it is an oddball. I would appreciate any information on this tractor.
