955k trans fluid bypass valve

where is it located, i thought i checked it a couple years ago, but i can't remember

The transmission oil should on right side motor near the flywell housing

bob had me take some pressure readings ,and i fixed the pipe that runs from the convertor housing to trans. i have had the cooler off, and it was spotless, but i can't remember how i checked the bypass

Todd, do you mean the trans cooler bypass?
It's in a block that joins the two cooler pipes, RH side of machine near front of the engine. Best way to check is with machine up to temp. Feel lines all the way to the cooler and look for a cold line between the block and he cooler.
