I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff. Don't know who makes it or how old it is but it's about 11" long. Came with a plow and post hole digger and good rubber. What more could I ask?

I have a larger 961 model from when I was small.

Still around here somewhere but it has been rode hard and put away wet.

That is a Hubley. Great find! Tractors are somewhat easy to find. I have 5 of them, wide fronts, narrow fronts, "5 speeds", and SOS. The posthole digger and backblade are worth big bucks, as are 2 bottom plows. I am jealous!

Dean, these Hubleys were all 1/12th scale. Ertl came out with 1/8th scale in maybe the 90's. 8n and 4000 4 cylinder.

I had a wide front sos. Came with a blade,2 bottom, and a single axle trailer. The box it came in could be made into a shed.

Sorry Dean. I had a senior moment. The original Hubley Ford was a 10th Scale, which I a sure you were talking about. It had Ford's famous 1 point hitch. haha. I do like the spring seat on them though! I have that model as well.

Wow! Nice. Live the hole digger. I have
that tractor and a gold one. Maybe paid
too much for the gold one but I wanted
it!

Me too! I found a 981 at the Mt Pleasant, Iowa antique tractor show. Later that day I was telling a guy about it & was told, "I've been a collector for 30 years & I can tell you they never made one! It has to be a 961." It definitely has the SOS w/3 speed pto! Probably paid too much too, but it's now on MY shelf!

Mine was "worked to death."

A attached a set of dual tires of similar size from another toy tractor and rigged up a sewing machine motor to the three point lift to drive the left side dual with a very heavy rubber band that ran within
the groove between the tires.

The universal motor was powered by at various speeds by our enormous Lionel train transformer. Easy to pop wheelies with the weight of the motor on the lift.
