9N spark plug wires

Where would be a good place to get original type spark plug wires for a 9N with front mount distributor? I got the universal set from TSC but have had nothing but trouble with the do it yourself ends. I need the pre made crimped ends.

If you plan on running the plug wires through the wire tube, you can't use wires with the ends on them already. You have to put the ends on after running them through the tube.

Bunchie........what is so difficult about squeezing the metal end caps with yer pliers??? Just be certain to use COPPER CORE sparkie wires ...NOT... modern carbon fiberglass anti-radio static string sparkie wires. Simple, eh? .......Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister

Did all of the N's have that tube for the wires ? All I have is a metal hanger with rubber around the circle.

Only the front distributor N's had the plug wire conduit.

I think all the front mounts had the metal loom. Side mounts have the hanger.

I squeezed the brass caps on with pliers but they wiggle around when the engine is running and I always lose contact between the little tooth on the tip and the copper wires in the insulation in the #1 wire. I've had to replace it 4 times in the 5 months it's been running and now the #1 wire is broken because there is no continuity through it. The old addage "you get what you pay for" comes true here, I was trying to save money by buying the universal kit and haven't had any luck.

the original 9n(8n-e) plug wires were fabric covered and 4 different colors

I bought the universal set,had the spark plug[90*] end on so all you do is push the wires through the tubes,and make up the other ends[cap ]. After the motor wouldn't start the other day,I replaced the sparkies the first time since 2003.The wires were as hard as a rock,so I'll buy some others.---lha

You need to strip back the insulation and expose an inch or so of the copper core, and then either fold that wire back and capture it under the terminal while you crimp it on the crimping pliers, OR, even better, poke the copper wire through a hole on the terminal end, and SOLDER it in place.
