9N TIRES replacement

I have 5.50 - 16 tires on my 9N ,, and one is ready to blow,

can I replace with 6.00-16 ?
I believe was the optional size?

any places that I can get a good deal,,?

sergio......yes, 6.00-16 is an optional tire. Unless you just "need" a tri-rib tractor tire, consider some USED automobile tires. $10 (cheap) 6.00-16 4-ply bias or radial is a very common small car and pickup tire. It ain't like you need "high-speed" quality tires, eh? Automobile tires are even eazier to turn. No need fer mud'n'snow tread. .......Dell

multi ribs are also bette rthan tri-ribs if you don't want to run soft ground.

I run an old pair of off road truck tires that i found in the tire pile where you take your junk down to the town twice a year....have been on for a few years now an work great and were free.....before that it had traction tires like you would see on a 4wd tractor, thats how I bought it so don't ask....it looked really cool but was kind of pointless and the bead steel broke and went through the tube so thats what brought me to the used truck tires.
