It's sophomoric and would be easier just to pick a word that is not banned.

Guess I don't know the motivations and how long ago this happened.

If this happened some time ago and prior to anyone expressing interest in saving what was likely an unused & surplus piece of equipment, I can see someone letting it go without a though. If your dad and uncle both owned it, well, your Dad should have been consulted. If someone else other than your Dad owned it, different story. Can't change the past or expect someone to know the future.

If this happened "last week" and your uncle knew you were fixing up the old cultivators to fit the family C that is another level of disrespect & spite.
