We had some excitement last night as our new bull decided to pull his feeder section from the wall and parade it around the barnyard.
That's me with the hacksaw.
It was pretty dangerous, actually, and we're lucky that he didn't stumble and break his neck. Two neighbors ran over and helped snag and chinch him to the tree. My wife, bless her heart, was right there in the thick of the action.
We freed him about five minutes after this shot was taken.
I hate that particular feeder design and will replace those sections with ones less liable to entrap the heads of cattle.
