I really think I know the gentleman in the picture. Would his mane be Norm from around Nichols,N.Y.? If it is, he really knows a great deal about Silver Kings and Plymouths.

Yup that Norm!!!! Great guy and a wealth of info on lotsa stuff as well as Silver King and Plymouth!

Pete76NY, I know Norm real good. Nice gentleman I was wondering where your club has it's show. I belong to the 'ENDLESS MTS. ANTIQUE POWER ASSOC". in Tunkhannock, Pa. and the TWIN TIERS ANTIQUE TRACTOR AND MACHINERY ASSOC'. in Wysox, Pa. I live approx. 30 miles from Binghamton, N.Y.

Mt. We are in the Binghamton area...the plow days are in Nichols and Campville! shows all around! Contact if ya'd like to come up! TY Pete

Do ya pull at the Rome pulls? We went at the aend of the year after all our Finger Lakes NATPA pulls were done...would been lotsa fun if the guy who runs it hadn't set up the rules to fit his extremely UNstock 800 Ford...which he of course pulls in the stock class...header, 38" rubber, small front tires...2 ways of approaching it: just discount him and worry about the rest of the stock field, or just don't go which I guess is the option we'll use! ...actually the third option is build one that would beat him...which could be done fairly painlessly and the satisfaction would be great, but then I'd have a tractor use in Div I at NATPA pulls! Must be a real riot winning every class by 100 plus feet!

Nice picture! I think that Plymouth has been in a couple magizines or books. Those front tires are unique tread and I think I've seen them before some where. Love the old Silver Kings! And as far as the pulling it has gottin so far out of hand that is why I stopped. And to be honist it got to be so boring for me. I'd sooner just go to shows where there is all fun and no compation. Here is a picture of my 1945 SK @ the National Pike (Brownsville, Pa.) Show

WOW! That is ONE SHARP TRACTOR! I never knew much about Plymouth/Silver King tractors...but this has provided a lil spark to start learnin. I do know that Norm usually leads our parades and Tractor rides...those things can go like a raped ape when he wants 'em to!
I just cannot get that pullin' outtta my system...but I like it strictly stock and fair! Pete
