About Forum topic layout.

Figure of speech “grinding an axe” equals “holding on to a past item that irritated you” I know you say “just a curiosity” but my point would come from the camp of “if it ain’t broke no need to fix it”
I am far more irritated about how some post here using the “question” format when they don’t intend to. They do it because there is “NO instructions” there to tell them what to do. Those are the kind of things that would make this forum better in my opinion, but that’s my “ideal plane”
Aha! Now I see your position! No, this is not an irritant to me. But I do remember the truck forum from the earlier days and just abandoned that entirely.... painfully slow mover... not a complaint, this is an ag forum after all ... the point being, wondering if the titles are arranged according to number of hits in a given time period.

Too much “axe grinding”?? The manufacturers section is arranged alphabetically.
I mis-spoke. I meant to say the method of grouping... whether they warrant a stand-alone title or lumped in with someone else. Whoops, there goes that ax grinding again!

He hasn’t been around all week, might as well step in dishing out some confusion.
I think he means Case and David Brown were together in the old format. Another clue is he is fairly consistent on reading only the OP and then pulling out the scatter gun and blasting away.
😂😂

We preserved the forum tree as it was before we migrated to the new platform for the most part. We didnt preserve ALL forums but all equipment specific ones, we did. If there is a strong appetite for it to change I am happy to explore options!

Funny you should mention that. This was illuminated the whole time I was running this guys R62:

I had a good laugh at "If there is a strong appetite for it to change...". :ROFLMAO: Change doesn't seem very popular with this crowd, me included!

One thing I am sure you will know or figure out if you do much viewing on the N board is the fact that N owners are a special breed. However, the rhetoric there has diminished somewhat over the last year or two.
It may have diminished, but it hasn't gone away

It recently occurred to me that McCormick isn't represented on this site at all; through some political details, McCormick was not part of the deal in the sale to Fiat...Landini got the name.

Same for Oliver and Cockshutt. I think the real issue is not many posts. Look at some of these like Fiat an the last post was 3 months ago. Also the fact some were intertwined Like Case and DB.
