British I see. Looks more like a Cockshutt/ Oliver or some such than a USA Gleaner!

The model C combine was made by AC at Essendine in the UK smallest county of Rutland. They started building the model A combine in 1958 and went on building combines till 1970. Quite a lot of As in presavation but not many Cs. MJ
 
Well it looks like my dads E except for the orange paint and the C is bigger. C was a 40" machine.E was 27" and A was 30". That was the cylinder width. The A was replaced with the E and the F replaced the C There were improvements on the E&F that were not on the A&C. Easier to do cylinder speed and such.
