AC D-12 Loader/Backhoe

I recently purchased an AC D-12 Series 2 Loader/Backhoe, my introduction to hydraulics. The loader has an AC L-99 tag on it, but I could find nothing on the backhoe. I am still cleaning dirt and oil off, and replacing some lines but would like to know more before I tackle controls. Everything works, with plenty of leaks, and the front bucket will not hold its position. It is just a toy for me, so nothing is urgent with it. I would appreciate any information, tips and tricks re. parts, installations, etc. I also have a WD-45, an 8-N Ford and a Farmall A, all running well. Thanks for any advice/info on the backhoe.
