AC mounted Picker

Good luck!!!

if you want a AC mounted picker, it will be very hard to find. Might find a New Idea mounted picker.

But if you really want to pick corn and not for show, just get a one or two row New Idea pull type picker. With the pull type picker you will have half your crop picked by the time you get the mounted picker on and all hooked up properly.

Also if you want to use the tractor for anything else you just unhook the pull type picker and go about your business. The tractor with mounted picker is basicly out of use for anything else other than picking corn.

just my two cents!!!!!

I have a No.7 new idea one row i have totally refurbised and travel to picking events with. just want an ac mounted for sentimental reasons. i have a wd i can mount it on and leave it....

thanks for your thoughts!!!

I drove an AC WD with an AC mounted picker years ago, about 1962. You will pick corn in low gear, and in today's corn you might have to stop a lot to let it clear out.

Unless you have a strong emotional pull for this rig, you DON'T want what you think you want.

Maxwell99 has good advice for you.

A coupla years ago, I was passin through Dover, Pa, on canal road, I believe, there was an old dorf dealership, on the left side, as you is a leavin Dover, had a wd, and the picker mounted on it, sittin out front. If I find out the dealer name in the next couple days, I'll post it right under this post. Supposed to go to an auction on Saturday, with a fella who knows the name.

I have one on a 37 WC and I think it's a 33, and I have ran it in irrigated corn and it don't have the hi/low gearbox,I have though sometimes might have to stop, but it kept on going and don't take long to fill the gravity cart
