adjust clutch on c

Put in a new clutch & pressure plate on my Allis C - wondering what the adjustment should be with the rod that goes from the foot pedal to the clutch? When I screw the rod in & then attach it to the foot pedal how much pedal should you have? Thanx in advance for all advice & thoughts

I think the only book measurment for the travel is at the throw out bearing. That is called out to be an inch. That makes the play/free travel at the pedal 1 1/2 inches or slightly more. It is not one to one and I never bothered to check it for an exact travel. Frankly I don't give ahh ahh care. ^D Aw, you know what I mean.

It would be best to get a service manual.
First the fingers in the presure plate have to be adjusted and then you adjust the the peddle rod to get 1/4" clearance between the throw out bearing and the fingers on the pressure plate.
