AI tractor signs

Don't think for a minute that Mother Deere won't come down on them if they aren't licensed. I don't know if the outfit making those signs is licensed by all of the brand names they're using or not, I'm not even the first one to bring it up in this thread, just replying to what somebody else said. I do know from my toy collecting days, that somebody was making some sand cast Deere toys with the name John Deere cast in on the side of the hood. Deere came down on them. They kept making them, looking the same, but they took some of the letters out. I don't remember off hand what they did still say, but it was something like " o n ere" or some such thing. Not saying AGCO or CNHI is likely to crack down, but you can bet Deere would if they knew.
I don’t disagree that Deere is very vigilant at protecting their name and trademark.

Back when I used to get "Toy Farmer" magazine, there would occasionally be some outfit making toy John Deere tractors. But they only advertised them as "Green" tractors! The name John Deere was never mentioned anywhere. But it was obvious what they were.

That makes sense. I have a T-shirt with a bunch of tractors on it that are all slightly "altered" like that also. Probably for the same reason.
Pics of the above mentioned T-shirt.

I just went in the toy room and took a look. I've got one of those sand cast GPs. Mine says John Deere on it. I thought I had one, but didn't know if it had all the letters or not. It doesn't say GP though, it says OP. That might be worth a few bucks since it has all the letters. Anybody got deep pockets and want to buy it?

Never mind the Case, what's that second one even supposed to be? It has Oliver decals. A model 36? Nothing about it looks familiar as any make or model except the slightly IH looking grill.
The 2nd one looks like International W series. That Allis with the Farmall grille is a hoot.

I have one of those, my Dad got an Oliver(can’t remember the model although I ran across a pic of the real deal once and was able to identify it. It’s one of the early Oliver’s and is painted green with brownish steel wheels. Here’s a pic.

The Oliver is an 80.

There's an old gal close by who ran the flea market circuit for a lot of years. She used to sell tractor decals too. She has a small pole barn now and has a garage sale a couple of days a week. It's interesting to sit and talk to her about things like this. We were talking tractor signs last summer when I stopped in. She was telling me that even when it comes to reusing plastic bags, if they have a store name on them, she's supposed to turn them inside out.

You hear every now and then about the state police shutting down flea market vendors for selling counterfeit products.
We was at the flea market in Shipshewana Indiana a few years ago, and the feds or who ever they were came in and raided one of the vendors there, plain clothes, guns strapped on their sides, they were taking box after box of T-shirts sweatshirts, it appeared to be all college stuff.

A double negative NO and NO. Well you asked:D

The one I'm thinking of is Burley Park near Howard City Michigan. They'll bust vendors for selling fake brand name perfume or purses, things like that.
