All Track Combines

Recent posts by 1206SWMO showing difficulty in mudding out wheat and soybeans, made me think of these two all-track rice combines which I photographed in November, 1976 while working in the Phillipines. These modified I.H. 915 combines were owned by Mindanao Rice Company and were reported to have a ground pressure of only 2.5 psi. They appeared to be equipped with 18 foot I.H. draper headers. Separate hydo motors for each track could allow for in place turns.
Still wouldn't bet that these couldn't be stuck.

Oliver 35 rice combines had the option of full length tracks.

I have seen Oliver rice combines with regular steel tracks on the drive axles like the optional tracks on; IHC, JD, MF, and Gleaner combines, but I thought all of the full track sets were by aftermarket companies.

Think that a California company made the full track option for the I.H. combines is saw in the Phillipines.

Can someone help me post my 1976 photo of the combines. I can e-mail it to anyone who knows how to do it.

The Oliver tracks were factory. Same as the tracks on the Oliver OC-12 crawler according to an article from the Oliver Heritage magazine.
