(quoted from post at 08:35:58 06/06/10) My lawyer told me to report anything like this to him and not to say anything past it. Chad

Very good! Have him contact me and I'll get him in touch with Mr. Garrett, my dad's attorney. I would recommend you provide a copy of the recordings on your answering service to your lawyer.

Dad hasn't decided wether to file to get a refund on the services you did not render.

You did not provide the hi-comp pistons or rebuilt head with the oversized valves as paid for on the receipt. Nor the labor to put the tractor back together. As I see it you owe my dad about 75% of the money back.

I have recommended he seek the refund and all legal fees pertaining to this matter. And be advised I am discussing the possibilty of sueing you for slander, specifically, telling people I threatened your life.

Maybe its just me but every time I look on this forum someone is trying to bash someone or bring their personal problems on here with someone else. We don't all have to know about how CHADS is screwing you and your dad. From the sounds of it he is busy working on alot of peoples parts and I'm sure you could work this out like adults instead of getting on here and bickering for everyone to see.

Allen, Would you, bill and a wittness, sit down and talk with me?

You want the truth? You cant handle the Truth!! I know I cant. Chad

I also do not want anyone bashing Allen and Bill on here!!

They are good people. Don't nobody stick up for anything.

This is my battle, I will handle it.

From what I understand, (listening to stories from who I called "uncle Bill") Ol Bill has been in this sport for 50 years!!!

To be honest, I wanna hear more of them, not be mad at anybody.

ChadS

You did not threaten my life, you threatened our way of life. In my opinion, a threat is a threat.

I want to sit down and talk face to face. Chad

Oh and by the way. Smart guy,,,,

If you put that engine infront of that clutch your gonna explode it when you pull it. I should sue you if you put it in for knowing it wasnt up to par!

If you put it in there,,, it will explode.

I dont know why that clutch is like that, but I told Bill that,,, and he said do it anyways.

Well I used a 1/4 inch ratchet on that bolt, guess what, SNAP!

I knew you would pull it apart because the clutch did not work upon assembly!

Being 5am installing that into the chassis, and knowing you were comming at 12 noon, but dont you say I never warned Bill beforehand.

And you guys are gonna put this infront of a crowd of people??????

That clutch barely handled the 58hp it dynoed at, and now that engine will be 100 plus and the same, used bolts, the same bolts that broke off with a 1/4 drive ratchet!!!!!

Tell your lawyer that while your at it. Or better yet, Ill find a video of a tractor/flywheel explosion and Ill show the judge, and the pressure plate, I showed your dad he should use.

I just saved a crowd of people if you heed this.

You best be finding something else or I will be talking to the sherriff at the next pull to stop you before it hooks up to the boat.

Bills old engine was full of dirt! More than the new one may have had. 5500 hours, dirt on the piston heads so thick it was lifting the head up.

Chad,

That was a brand new heavy duty clutch built by Fort Wayne Clutch for the new horse power rating. As for the clutch exploding, are you for real? As for the pistons being dirty.... The head was in such good shape, Kercher's din't even have to replace a valve. I know as I am heading there to get it now.

Call the Sherrif.... please!

And I just printed all this off for the attorney....thanks!

Why in the world would anyone put this crap on the pulling fourm? Man up and work it out between the two of you. I come on here looking for information and ideas not lookig for this kind of garbage. Dave S

Allen, Bill, I will refund you the full $2500 paid to the shop.

Also, When the collection for my Dad's memorial was given to my Mom, from the deadweighters, She really appreciated everything they did.

Well, after talking with you and you making the point,,, I have decided to refund that money back to the club as well.

I dont want your fake pitty, If I knew you guys were like this, you would have never made it in the door at the funeral.

Im serious on the flywheel bolts,,,, please do something, and get rid of that chimsey pressure plate. 460 utility was twice the clutch that one is.

But you know it all, so dont do a damn thing.

Like I said, full 2500. If thats not enough, fine.

I put MY puller up for sale.

Shove that up your attorneys you know what.

Don Davis, you owe me 2 core engines. I have BOTH of your cores that were both unusable and boat anchors. If memeory serves me right, we supplied all of the replacement parts on both engines. I kept them just for this occasion. I will stand infront of any jury or my peers and let it be tried.

When can I expect it? Also make it a cashier's check or money order..... wouldn't want it to bounce now would we!

Also, I'll take a copy of this to the pull this weekend. I'll put it at the sign-up to let the pullers know what you think of my dad and them.

Thanks,
Allen Kirkpatrick

Make a big banner!! Hang it across the street! Highlight the clutch info too, make sure all your groupies see it. Also how about making a copy of the conversation,,, play em over the loud speaker too! Chad

DCPuller and all others,

The reason I put this out here for all is I don't want someone to get the same 'deal' my dad got...... and as it sounds a few others have recieved as well! Earl, Chad's dad, was my dad's friend. He built a spectacular Super M for him.

To keep this short, dad wanted to help Mary, Earl's wife, so he decided to let Chad do the engine..... we learned to say the least, Chad's skills aren't a tenth of his fathers nor is his word.

Since getting the tractor last week I've had to do the following;

-- disconnect the battery! waiting to see if gauges still work
-- pull the motor to fix the clutch bolt Chad admits to breaking off and not telling us.
-- pulling the front pulley and replacing the front timing seal he didn't
-- also the pulley was not seated do to paint on the crank snub
-- pull off the oil filter mount and replace the leaking gasket
he had just taken it from one motor and bolted it on old torn gasket
-- same with the govenor housing
-- have head/valves done
-- buy head bolts as they were not returned
-- buy oil pan bolts as they were not returned
-- buy manifold bolts as they were not returned
-- re-torque the installed items following
-- timing cover
-- main caps

Dad paid Mary all of the $2300 up front, supplied new rebuilt clutch from Fort Wayne Clutch, took up all new fluids including fuel.

Now as you read Chad says he will refund dad the money..... I can tell you as sure as I'm writing this that won't happen, but if it does I promise I will post it here!!

As you can see previously in this posting we are not the only people Chad has failed to provide 'quality' service to.

As for Chad's threats with the Police, he talks a lot. I know he won't show up at any pull we are at. He knows the schedule and will avoid my dad and I like the plague.

We'll be dead-weight pulling at Andrews Indiana this Saturday, starts around 9:00 or so. So if Chad is a man of his word, I should see him..... But I think I'd come closer to winning the lottery!

As I learned in my 26 year US Air Force career... some people just talk because they can't walk the walk!

Chad,

I did as you requested and took a printed copy of this to the tractor pull at Andrews..... by the way we were all waiting for you and the police to show up and stop dad from pulling as you stated you would do.

Anyway, I let the guys who donated the money know how you feel about them and the way you handled my dad's tractor. To say the least, I don't think you'll have to worry about doing any business with them.

Also, I'm still waiting for you to return my dad's money as you indicated. But I'm pretty sure that is about as trust worthy as your statement, "the heads at my house"....... you seem to have an uncanny ability to make statements that are untrue.

And just to give you a heads-up, I'm thinking very seriously of having a copy of this hand delivered to Mary. I think she needs to be fully aware of all of your statements concerning Earl's tractor puller friends.

Personaly, I can't see how you can even look at your mom, pictures of your dad, or yourself in the mirror with out feeling ill. As a son myself, I can't believe how you would disgrace your mom and the memory of Earl by treating both your Earl's friends and customer's of your mom's business as you do.

I figure you have about a week before my mom will probably convince dad to pursue legal action....... I will tell you she is P.O.'d at the way way dad was treated, probably even more than me! And that's saying a lot!

Anyway, unless mom or dad want me to pursue this further, I'm done with you...... Just remember whatever follows will be based on your statements and actions, so speak the truth and make good choices!
